GCS Service A1 Hydraulics is a family owned and operated business based in Hallam. Originally named GCS Service Management, the company was established by Greg Smith in 1998.

Greg has over 40 years’ experience in the industry and has been working alongside his son Wayne for the last 20 years.

We currently provide repairs and service to the Materials Handling industry. This includes Hydraulic Fork Attachments and Dock Levellers. Always evolving and responding to clients needs, we can also offer repairs to hydraulic equipment, fabrication of safety barriers and fencing as well as general warehousing and transport maintenance.

In 2016, GCS Service Management invested in a Hydraulic company (A1 Hydraulics) and merged the two companies together in 2020. With this acquisition we can now offer repairs to hydraulic cylinders for the earth moving, waste management and boom lift industries.

GCS Service A1 Hydraulics currently has 2 fully equipped factories in Hallam with a Machine and Turning Workshop, as well as a Fabrication and Repair Workshop with overhead crane. We also provide onsite service and repairs across Melbourne and some areas in regional Victoria, with a fully equipped Service Truck and Service Van.
